Our modern PVC floors contain phthalate-free plasticisers and are considered safe for health. They comply with all current EU regulations on indoor air quality and product safety and are in no way hazardous.

The terms PVC flooring, vinyl, and linoleum are often used interchangeably. Technically, vinyl is a type of PVC. Linoleum, however, is made from natural materials and differs in structure. Modern vinyl floors are usually PVC-based, combining durability with easy installation – hence the terms are often equated.

Yes, sealed PVC flooring is ideal for wet rooms such as kitchens, bathrooms, or laundry rooms. Proper installation is crucial to prevent moisture from seeping underneath. In wet areas, the floor should be fully glued and edges sealed.

Yes, PVC flooring is very suitable for underfloor heating. Its good thermal conductivity ensures that heat is quickly transferred to the room. Even without heating, PVC provides a pleasantly warm floor surface.

Attention: Like wallpaper, PVC floors may have slight color variations between different rolls or sections. To ensure a uniform look, please contact us in advance so we can check the pieces for color consistency.

The subfloor must be flat, clean, dry, crack-free, and dust-free. Unevenness or joints (e.g., tiles) may show through over time. In such cases, leveling or filling is absolutely necessary.

PVC flooring is very easy to care for. Vacuuming or sweeping is sufficient for regular cleaning. For wet cleaning, use a damp cloth or mop with a mild neutral cleaner or special PVC floor cleaner. Avoid using too much water. Do not use aggressive cleaners, abrasive cleaners, solvent-based products or waxes, as these can damage the surface.

PVC floor coverings are easy to maintain and very durable. Most everyday stains can be removed without difficulty, especially if they are fresh. However, if stains are left for a long time or come from strongly coloring substances, slight discoloration may remain.

Difficult stains on PVC

• Tomato, ketchup, curry (coloring and greasy substances)
• Ink and felt-tip pens
• Grease and oil
• Rubber marks from shoes or mats
• Chemicals or aggressive cleaning agents

How to remove stains properly

1. Remove stains immediately, do not rub.
2. Clean with warm water and mild dish soap.
3. If necessary, use a vinegar-water solution (1:3), baking soda paste, or a special PVC cleaner.
4. Wipe with clean water afterward.
5. Scratches or material damage cannot be removed by cleaning.

Full-surface gluing is not strictly necessary, but it depends on the room size and intended use. Alternatively, you can fix the floor with adhesive or double-sided tape. For a permanent, wrinkle-free installation, gluing is recommended.

The best way to cut PVC flooring is with a sharp utility knife and a steel ruler. Make several controlled cuts along the ruler to achieve a clean edge.
