Create a template for your customised car carpet
Draw the desired outlines either on the basis of the old original mats (if available) or directly in the footwell of the vehicle on cardboard, wrapping paper or a wax cloth. Newspaper is too thin and therefore unsuitable. Important: Mark the sides and the running direction (top, bottom, front, rear etc.) on the template and mark the places for the fastenings!
